For the second consecutive year, Willis Investment Counsel has been recognized by The Financial Times of London as one of the United States’ top investment advisory firms.
The Gainesville-based company is one of 300 U.S. investment firms to make the annual “FT 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers” list. In Georgia, Willis Investment Counsel is one of only 11 investment firms to qualify for the ranking – and the only one outside metro Atlanta.
The “FT 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers” list is researched and compiled independently by the Financial Times, a London-based international business publication, in partnership with Ignites Distribution Research, according to a news release. Criteria include amount of client assets under management, asset growth, years of operation, compliance record, professional certifications of key employees, and online accessibility for clients. No fee is paid for consideration or inclusion in the FT 300.
