A traffic stop carried out in Hall County Saturday resulted in two arrests and the seizure of narcotics.
Officers conducting the traffic stop at Interstate 985's Exit 22 arrested Gainesville resident Khalil Ontrell Wells, 20, and Covington resident Aarron Rhynell Wells, 17, who were later charged with manufacturing marijuana. Any possible relation between the suspects is unknown.
Hall County Sheriff's Lt. Scott Ware said a planter that contained a growing marijuana plant was found in the suspect's vehicle, prompting the arrests. He added that the street value of the marijuana was estimated at $2,000.
Ware said both suspects were arrested without incident and booked into the Hall County Jail.
