David Roberts doubled up on Friday night, as he swept both Late Model Stock features at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, S.C.
The Simpsonville, S.C. speedster edged out R.A. Brown in both features to take a pair of trips to Anderson’s victory lane.
Trey Gibson finished third in the first feature, with Jasper, Georgia’s Emilee Riley in fourth and Kenneth Headen in fifth.
In the second feature, Headen finished third, with Cole Glasson in fourth and Jackie Manley in fifth.
In other action, David Darnell topped the Mini Stock field to take the feature victory. Chad Campbell came home in second, with B.J. Thrasher in third, Tyler Sease in fourth and Ryan Howard in fifth.
Billy Brown took the victory in the Renegades feature. Chris Whitfield finished in second, with Terry Thurston in third, Chad Watt in fourth and Jonathan Ragsdale in fifth.
Nolan Pope was the winner in the US Legends feature. Randy Gunton, Connor Pyle, Lee Jordan and Giolio Borlenghi rounded out the top five.
In the Super Limiteds feature, Davey Smart scored the win, with Shaun Mize second, Phillip Peters third, Joe Wilder fourth and Jacob York fifth.
Newman Presnell took the Front Wheel Drive feature win. Scott Parker finished in second, followed by Tommy Davis, Jr. in third, Tom Davis in fourth and Michael Posey in fifth.
Anderson Motor Speedway returns to action on Friday, June 10, with a $500 to win “Front Wheel Drive Frenzy” feature, along with action from the Late Model Stocks, BM Modifieds, Mini-Stocks, Renegades, Super Limiteds and US Legends.
