Lawson Air Conditioning & Plumbing staff recently traveled to Huntington Beach, Calif., to receive Carrier’s 2016 President’s Award. The President’s Award is one of Carrier’s highest honors awarded to Certified Factory Authorized Dealers (CFAD) across the nation who exemplify the company’s model for operational excellence, business effectiveness and delivering the best in cutting-edge technology to consumers.
“This award is given to Certified Factory Authorized Dealers whose growth and successful performance is demonstrated year over year, but most importantly to us, with a continual emphasis on customer satisfaction,” said Debbie Lawson Davis, owner at Lawson Air Conditioning & Plumbing.
Debbie and her husband Vince have guided the company for the past 30 years. It was started by her father, L.D. Lawson, in 1946.
“This year our family is celebrating 70 years in business and service to our community. From installing the county’s first air conditioning unit in the Diana Shop to today, we have never been afraid to be a trailblazer in our field and have never settled for the status quo,” Lawson said. “It is through our immense dedication and commitment to this community that we continue to look for new ways to provide innovative customer-centered service.”
In receiving this award, Lawson Air Conditioning & Plumbing also becomes a national leader, serving as a sounding board for the Carrier brand leadership team. Lawson’s insight and feedback will help guide Carrier’s decisions on behalf of the other CFADs across the nation, helping develop improvements to brand initiatives and dealer support programs. Finally, being awarded with the President’s Award sets Lawson apart as a leader, mentor and role model for other CFADs throughout the nation.
