While no arrests have been made, deputies have issued a warrant for a suspect in last Saturday afternoon's armed robbery of a Dollar General store in Buford.
The warrant for Anthony Shivers, 31, was obtained by authorities late Tuesday night, according to Hall County Sheriff's Deputy Nicole Bailes.
Earlier this week, Bailes said the crime happened around 4:30 p.m. at the store on Gainesville Highway. The suspect flashed a gun in his waistband, according to Bailes.
"The black male then passed a note to the cashier demanding money from the register."
He left the scene in a black Chrysler 300, Bailes stated Monday.
No one was injured in the incident.
Investigators requested a phone call from anyone with information on Shiver's whereabouts.
