HCFS names Tipton named Brigade Commander

Hall County Fire Services is pleased to announce the promotion of Dennis Tipton to the rank of Brigade Commander. Commander Tipton has over 27 years of service with Hall County and brings a wealth of knowledge to the position. Starting in 1988 as a firefighter, Commander Tipton has previously served as an apparatus operator, Lieutenant – Operations, Captain, and Battalion Chief. In a Command Directive to staff this morning, Fire Chief Jeff Hood said “I am excited about his decision to fill this position and continue the process of taking Hall County Fire Services into the future”. Commander Tipton was presented with his badge and helmet this morning and will start his official duties on Sunday, May 1.
