The 2016 Region 8-AA All-Region baseball team was announced Tuesday.
The team is selected by the region coaches.
Eli Gipson of Rabun County was named the Player of the Year with Joe Mancuso of Union County named the Pitcher of the Year. The two players helped lead their respective teams into the upcoming Class AA state playoffs.
Social Circle's Brook Adams was named the Coach of the Year after leading the Redskins to the region title.
