GAINESVILLE — The Riverside Military tennis team advanced to the second round of the Class AA state playoffs after taking a 3-0 win over Temple in the first round Monday at home.
The Eagles dropped just one game in getting the victory.
Sibu Khoza won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Max Meehok took a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles.
The No. 2 doubles team of Brayden Lawson and Josue Calderon won 6-0, 6-0 to clinch the match.
Riverside next will take on the winner of Fitzgerald\Monticello in the second round. A date and time will be announced later.
