Wilson doubles up with Nashville North-South victory

Donnie Wilson had two pieces of hardware to take home from Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville over the weekend.

One night after winning a jukebox for his Southern Super Series victory at the historic Tennessee half mile raceway, Wilson scored the win Saturday in the North/South Super Late Model Challenge, as drivers from the Southern Super Series faced off against competitors from the ARCA/CRA Super Series.

For his efforts, Wilson took home a coveted Nashville guitar trophy.

After trailing Steve Wallace for the first 15 laps of the event, Wilson took the top spot and never looked back, as he drove away to score the win.

Wallace finished in second, with Senoia, Georgia’s Bubba Pollard in third, Dalton Armstrong in fourth and William Byron in fifth.

Travis Braden, Zane Smith, Cody Coughlin, Riley Herbst and Quinnton Bear rounded out the top ten.
