VIDEO: Kyle Busch dominates for Martinsville victory

Going into this weekend, Kyle Busch had never scored a grandfather clock trophy given to the winner at Martinsville Speedway.

By the time the sun set on Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, he had changed that.

On Sunday, Busch led 352 of the race’s 500 laps, but it all came down to a late race restart.  Busch jumped out to the lead, hanging teammate Matt Kenseth in the outside lane, and then went on to hold of A.J. Allmendinger to score his first Sprint Cup Series win at Martinsville.

With his win on Saturday in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, Busch took home two of the coveted grandfather clock trophies.

Throughout the race, Busch and Kenseth had worked together on restarts to keep both cars at the front, but with 11 laps to go, all bets were off.

Kyle Larson finished in third, with Austin Dillon in fourth and Brad Keselowski in fifth.

Afterwards, Busch talked about his race and what the race meant to him.  We also heard from second place finisher Allmendinger and third place Larson.

This weekend, the NASCAR tour heads for the Lone Star State to do battle at Texas Motor Speedway.

WDUN will have live PRN Radio coverage of the entire race weekend, beginning Friday night with the NASCAR Xfinity Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 on 102.9 FM and AM 550.
