While most of the area prep baseball schedule is still on for Friday, several key matchups have been called off because of the weather.
In Region 8-AAAAA, the Gainesville at Heritage matchup has been moved to 5 p.m. Saturday in Conyers.
In Region 7-AAA, a pair of doubleheaders have been rescheduled for Saturday.
Franklin County at Dawson County in battle for first place with start at 2 p.m. in Dawsonville while the East Hall at Lumpkin County series will begin at 1 p.m. at East Hall Park.
The key Region 8-AAAA showdown between North Hall and Buford is on as scheduled in Buford at 5:55 p.m.
