Lanier Islands still looking for seasonal workers

By AccessWDUN staff

Lanier Islands will be recruiting seasonal workers for the spring and summer Saturday.

That's when the latest in a series of job fairs at the South Hall resort will be held.  Recruiters will be looking for admissions clerks, bartenders, concession-stand operators, front-desk personnel, lifeguards, pool attendants, security guards, servers, and retail associates among others.

While most jobs require applicants to be at least 16 years old, some positions call for job seekers to be at least 18. All applicants should bring a resume, military identification card, and a driver’s license.

Salaries will depend on the position and will be discussed with the applicant during the interview.

The state Department of Labor will assist in the event and anyone planning to attend the recruitment is encouraged to visit www.employgeorgia.com to create an account and upload or create a resume. Having an Employ Georgia account and resume expedites the interview process.

For additional information about the recruitment, contact the GDOL’s Gainesville Career Center at (770) 535-5484.
