WASHINGTON — The Riverside Military soccer team took a 10-0 victory over Washington-Wilkes Saturday in Region 8-AA contest.
Carlos Carrillo had a hat trick and Jorge Quesada and Manuel Chivaca each added two goals for the Eagles (7-2-1, 4-0 Region 8-AA). Samuel Palmer, Carlos Pablovich, and Marlo Martinez-Perez each added one goal for Riverside.
The Eagles' midfield, led by Ricardo Policarpo, helped create numerous scoring chances. Jonathan Guo recorded his second shut out of the season in goal.
Riverside now leads Region 8-AA 1 1/2 games over second place Union County and Oglethorpe County. The Eagles beat Union County last week and will travel to Oglethorpe County on Monday.
