OAKWOOD — Buford pushed its win streak to seven straight after taking a 3-0 victory over Johnson Friday night in Region 8-AAAA girls soccer action.
The Class AAAA sixth-ranked Lady Wolves (8-2, 4-0 Region 8-AAAA) got balanced scoring as Ambria Shutts, Elexa Bahr, and Kristen Edmond each scored one goal.
Shutts, Brie Smith, and Hannah Davis had one assist apiece for Buford.
The Lady Wolves next will travel to North Hall Tuesday in another key Region 8-AAAA match.
Johnson (5-5--1, 2-3) had its two-match win streak snapped with the loss. The Lady Knights will travel to North Oconee on Tuesday in a Region 8-AAAA match.
