ROSWELL, Ga. (AP) Police say one person has been killed and two others injured after a car crashed into a bus stop in north Fulton County.
Multiple media outlets report the crash took place Thursday evening in Roswell.
Roswell police spokeswoman Officer Lisa Holland says the driver of the car was traveling behind a MARTA bus when she apparently swerved to avoid hitting the bus, striking three people who were waiting at the bus stop.
Holland says a man who was just about to get on the bus died.
A second person was seriously injured, and the third was injured too. The victims were transported to a hospital. Their conditions are unknown.
The investigation continues.
