Basketball season may be over at Piedmont College but the accolades continue to roll in as Trae Gaines earned USA South Play of the Month for February with his game-tying 3-pointer against Greensboro in the regular season.
The vote was clear as Piedmont took 77 percent out of the three plays in question. Also in the running were Covenant and LaGrange as this marks the second time the Lions have taken home play of the week, earning it in December as well.
