Rushton is launching a new initiative – Rushton Wealth Management, LLC.
Rushton Wealth Management will be a new and separate company from Rushton, but the two will work together as a coordinated team to provide much deeper, comprehensive tax-centric financial planning for their clients, according to a company press release.
Perry Barnett, a longtime partner with the Gainesville-based accounting firm, will be involved in leading Rushton Wealth Management.
In addition, Dawn Parks, CFP, CLU, will serve as Director of Financial Service. An Athens native, Parks has nearly two decades of financial advisor experience. In addition to serving clients, she also has coached and trained other financial advisors.
According to the release, Rushton Wealth Management will be partnering with 1st Global Capital Corporation, a broker-dealer that provides exclusive support to CPA, tax and estate planning firms in the wealth management industry. Through 1st Global, clients will have access to a vast array of financial products ranging from securities to life insurance.
