AUGUSTA — With the conclusion of the 2015-16 basketball season on Wednesday evening, the Peach Belt Conference has released the tournament bracket for the upcoming championships, presented by Jani-King. The University of North Georgia women's basketball team will represent the West Division as the No.3 seed and will travel to East No. 2 Augusta.

Game time is set for Sunday, Feb. 28 at 2:00 p.m. in Augusta's Christenberry Fieldhouse.

North Georgia finished the regular season with a 17-11 overall record and 9-10 league mark. The PBC Tournament appearance is the fourth consecutive for head coach Buffie Burson's squad and the sixth appearance in program history.

Augusta compiled 21-7 record and a 14-5 mark in conference play, fueled by a pair of six-game winning streaks during the year.

The Jaguars claimed the only meeting between the two teams this year, earning a 76-70 win in Dahlonega on Jan. 7.

The tournament's quarterfinal games will be hosted on Sat. Feb. 27 and Sun. Feb. 28 by the top two seeds in both the East and West divisions. The final round of games will be played Mar. 5-6 at the highest remaining West division women's seed. The two women's semifinals will take place on Sat. Mar. 5 at 6:00 and 8:30 p.m. The Championship game will be played on Sun. Mar. 6 at 4:30 p.m.

Every game of the PBC Tournament will be covered with live stats and a live video feed through the Peach Belt Conference's YouTube channel. The league will also provide a stream of every post-game press conference through Periscope, an app created by Twitter.
