In a ceremony held Wednesday, one re-elected and two newly-elected members of the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners were sworn in.
Forsyth County Probate Judge Woody Jordan officiated.
District 4 Commissioner Cindy Jones Mills was sworn in to serve her second term. Laura Semanson was sworn in as the new District 5 commissioner, and Rick Swope was sworn in as the incoming commissioner for District 2.
In Hall County, re-elected and newly-elected officials are also taking office, although most of them are doing so in private ceremonies in a judge's office at the courthouse.
