Fair Street International Academy held its annual "Holiday Around the World" program recently, with the them "Peace, Joy, and Love." Music teacher In Sun Ko organized the event and helped students in grades K-5 prepare for the concert.
The song that each grade level sang represented a characteristic of a country or a continent. Kindergarten represented Northern Europe, first grade represented Israel, second grade represented Africa, third grade represented Mexico, fourth grade represented Germany, and fifth grade represented the United States.
"My goal was to give all our students an opportunity to enjoy the concert experience and use their voices and harmony to share the gift of peace, joy, and love through music," Ko said.
The students began practicing for the concert in October.
