Hall County's administrative offices, courts and community centers will be closed Dec. 23 through Dec. 26 for the Christmas holidays, as well as Jan. 1 through Jan. 2 for the New Year's holiday.
The landfill will be closed Dec. 24 but will reopen Monday, Dec. 26. It will close again Saturday, Dec. 31 and reopen Monday, Jan. 2. Meanwhile, the Hall County Recycling Center will be closed Dec. 23 but will reopen Dec. 26 and will remain open on Monday, Jan. 2. Hall County compactor sites will close on Sunday, Dec. 25 only.
Essential public safety and public works personnel will continue service as usual during the holidays. Many county services are always available online: residents can renew a vehicle tag, find a new pet, pay taxes, and more at hallcounty.org.
