RABBITTOWN — East Hall had four players score in double figures in taking an impressive 94-58 win over Lumpkin County Tuesday at home in both teams' Region 7-AAA opener.
The Vikings (4-2, 1-0 Region 7-AAA) drained 12 3-pointers in the victory. Luke Cooper paced East Hall with 17 points. Keilen Dowdy and Luke Holtzclaw each added 16 points while Sedrion Morse and Mahki Brown had 10 points apiece for the Vikings.
The East Hall offense has been potent so far this season. The 94 points in the third time in six games the Vikings have eclipsed the 90-point mark. They led 20-14 after the first quarter and blew it open in second outscoring Lumpkin County (3-5, 0-1) 32-19 for a 52-33 halftime lead.
Both teams will be back in Region 7-AAA action on Friday. East Hall next will travel to North Hall while Lumpkin County will play host to Fannin County.
