OAKWOOD — The Flowery Branch girls defeated Johnson 73-6 Tuesday Region 8-AAAAA action.
The Lady Falcons (7-1, 1-0 Region 8-AAAAA) outscored the Lady Knights 25-0 in the first quarter and then cruised to the win.
Julianne Sutton paced Flowery Branch with 14 points. Taniyah Worth added 13 points and Ashley Woodroffe 12 points for the Lady Falcons.
Flowery Branch will play host to to Cedar Shoals on Friday.
Johnson (0-7, 0-1) will travel to Clarke Central on Friday.
