Ron Quinn, President and Chief Executive Officer of Peach State Bank & Trust, announced Tuesday afternoon that Steven Pettit has been promoted to Assistant Vice President.
Steven Pettit began his career at Peach State in 2006 immediately after his graduation from Liberty University, where he obtained a degree in Religion and Business. He started his banking career in the customer service department as a teller and has been working in the Gainesville bank's accounting area since 2011. Pettit completed his ACH certification in the fall of 2013, has earned a Banking and Finance Diploma from the American Institute of Banking and graduated from the Georgia Banking School in 2016. In addition, Pettit is Chairman of Peach State's Youth Development Board.
“I am pleased to announce Steven’s promotion,” Quinn said. “He has been a true asset to our bank.”
Pettit and his wife Fancy reside in Gainesville with their two children Asher and Teegan. The Pettits are members of Lakewood Baptist Church, where Steven serves as a deacon minister and youth minister leader.
