Residents of the Village at Deaton Creek in Hoschton once again collected dozens of toys to help fill the Christmas wish lists of the children served by Hall County's Edmondson-Telford Center for Children.
Members of the Hall County Sheriff's Office went to the neighborhood on Monday, December 5 to pick up toys, games, bicycles, stuffed animals and food items to be distributed to those in need. The toys were transported directly to Edmondson-Telford in Gainesville - in a truck provided by Conditioned Air Systems - and are now in the process of being sorted and then distributed to families for Christmas.
“This time of year it’s important to remember that there are families in our community who, without this sort of kindness, might not enjoy the kind of Christmas that most of us do,” said Sheriff Gerald Couch. “It really is a pleasure for us to partner with the residents of Deaton Creek and companies like Conditioned Air Systems to help bring a little joy to their holidays.”
