HOMER — Banks County snapped a three game losing streak with a 63-52 win over Madison County Saturday in boys basketball action.
The Leopards (2-3) led just 13-8 after the first quarter but used a 19-9 second quarter to pull away for a 32-17 halftime lead. they extended it to 51-34 heading into the third quarter.
Khamal Wiley paced Banks County with 20 point and 10 rebounds. Gabe Martin 19 points, including 4-of-6 on 3-pointers, and Dylan Orr had a big game with 11 points, 14 rebounds, and 6 blocks for the Leopards.
Banks County next will open its Region 8-AA schedule against Monticello at home on Friday.
