The Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirms the arrest of the man suspected in a carjacking and kidnapping in Walton County on Sunday.
A statement from GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles said John Christopher Calhoun, 29, was taken into custody in Walton County after a high-speed chase. The Walton Tribune reported on social media that Calhoun was captured behind the Walton County Fire Rescue headquarters building on Bold Springs Road.

Both assault victims are hospitalized.
