The Gainesville Heat won its first game of the season this weekend against the Southwest Warriors of Atlanta, moving to 1-3.
Dedric Ware led the Heat with 39 points, while Germeil Daniels added 19 points and Jonas Randolph 14 points. Pete Balich, CJ Colbert, and Jerome Williams featured on defende, leading Gainesville in blocks, steals, and defensive rebounds.
The Heat will face the Southwest Warriors again this Saturday in a special ABA First to 50 game. The game will be played live at noon on ESPN3 in the home of the Southwest Warriors, William Walker Gym.
