Hall County property taxes due in about 10 days

By AccessWDUN staff
The deadline for paying Hall County property taxes is quickly approaching.  They are due Dec. 1.

County officials say the ability to pay online is offered through the Hall County Tax Commissioner's new website: hallcountytax.org.   If you choose to mail your payment, send it to P. O. Box 1579, Gainesville, GA 30503. Payments made in full that are postmarked or dropped off at the Hall County Government Center by 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 will not incur any interest.

"We are thrilled with the streamlined systems in place to more efficiently process the workload during our busy property tax season.  Much consideration to the needs of residents went into the design of our new website and the cart technology made available for user-friendly access," said Tax Commissioner Darla Eden.

There are actually five ways to pay: online, by mail, in person, secure drop (located outside the entrance of the Hall County Government Center), and by phone.
