Don Nix, a former warden of the Hall County Correctional Institution, will be buried Monday. Nix, who was 75, died Saturday at his home following an extended illness.
Nix joined the staff at the correctonal institution after retiring from the U.S. Air Force. He served as Deputy Warden before being named Warden.
The funeral will be at 2:00 Monday in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be at Alta Vista Cemetery.
