The GBI has joined Rabun County officials in their investigation of the death of an infant.
"On Tuesday, Nov. 8, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was requested by the Rabun County Sheriff's Office to assist in an investigation into the death of an infant," GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles confirmed by email.
"The investigation is active and ongoing. At this time, there are no further details to report."
