By AccessWDUN staff

South Forsyth High School’s Carol Sikes was awarded the Dwight Love Award by the Georgia Council of Teacher of Mathematics recently.

Fellow math teachers from across the state voted Sikes for this prestigious award.  This award is presented to a teacher in Georgia who models excellence in the profession and in life; gives much to others beyond the classroom as a mentor, teacher, and leader; is a member of the GCTM, is a master teacher; and is professionally active.

Sikes has been teaching for 14 years, the last ten at South Forsyth.
