Early voting for next month's General Election begins Monday in Georgia.

In Hall County, voting will take place through Nov. 4 at the elections office in the county Government Center, Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00.  October 29 has been set aside for Saturday voting and there will be four locations for that: the East Hall and North Hall community centers, the Spout Springs Library and the county elections office.  The hours for Saturday voting are 9:00-4:00 at each site.

Absentee balloting began Sept. 20 and Hall County Elections Director Charlotte Sosebee says that as of the close of business last Wednesday, 794 ballots had been returned out of 2,549 that had been requested and processed.

There's more information, including a sample ballot, on the Hall County Elections Office website.  For information on early voting, sample ballots, etc. in each county in Georgia, click here.

Meanwhile, Sosebee says 27,956 voters have been added to the registration list in Hall County since the last presidential election year, which was 2012.  The number of eligible voters for this year's election is 107,840.  Statewide, according to the Secretary of State's office, there are 6.5 million registered voters.
