Mincey Marble question headed back to Hall commission this week

By Ken Stanford Contributing Editor

Mincey Marble's controversial proposal for a tract of land on Browns Bridge Road is headed back to the Hall County Board of Commissioners this week.

Commissioners are expected to receive a report on the matter from the county planning department at their Monday work session and it is expected to be on the agenda for the commission's Thursday voting session.  The matter was tabled until Thursday at the Aug. 25 commission meeting.

The company's proposal to expand onto an 11.63-acre site on Browns Bridge Road across from its current location has drawn strong opposition from people who live in the area.
