GAINESVILLE — Riverside Military Academy managed just 67 total yards against a tough Athens Academy squad in a 42-0, Region 8-A loss Friday night at Maginnis Field.
Quarterbacks Lyle Lopez and Isaac Teasley were held to just 2-of-5 passing for 10 yards and one interception. Charles Dimnwaobi had both catches for the Eagles (1-5, 1-5 Region 8-A).
Stephen Aleandre finished with five carries for 30 yards and Justin Eagen had six carries for 21 yards for Riverside.
Athens Academy (5-0, 4-0) will travel to Hebron Christian next week.
Riverside is off next week before playiing host Commerce in two weeks.
