DAHLONEGA — The University of North Georgia men's and women's tennis teams opened up the spring portion of their schedules as both squads breezed past Brevard with identical 9-0 scores on Sunday afternoon at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek Park.
The No. 20-ranked men eased past the Tornados winning all six contested matches in straight sets. Brevard defaulted in three lines as North Georgia improves to 2-0 overall.
The Nighthawk women gave up a single game in 15 sets of action to improve to 2-0 on the young season.
North Georgia will host Erskine at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6 at the UNG Tennis Complex.
