ATHENS (AP) — Six prospects from Georgia's 2016 recruiting class, including quarterback Jacob Eason, have enrolled early in school.
Georgia says the six players were on campus on Monday. They will participate in spring practice.
Eason is expected to contend to be the starting quarterback as a freshman.
Also enrolling early was tight end Isaac Nauta, who announced his commitment to Georgia at the U.S. Army All-American high school all-star game last week. Eason and Nauta are rated as the nation's top players at their positions.
Other early enrollees included wide receiver Riley Ridley, offensive lineman Ben Cleveland, defensive back Chad Clay and defensive lineman Julian Rochester.
