An Alto man has been appointed to a new term on the state Department of Natural Resources Board of Directors.
William Bagwell, Jr., is a managing member of Homestead Investments. He also manages property for Northeast Georgia Real Estate and is involved in a family timber operation. Bagwell is a former employee of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, where he served as vice president of economic development, vice president of existing industry and vice president of government affairs.
He currently serves on the Hall County Economic Development Council.
The appointment was made by Gov. Nathan Deal.
