Grace Todd of Stephens County has been selected as North Georgia Technical College’s 2015 Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy Education (EAGLE) winner. Students who have demonstrated superior achievement in adult education programs are nominated by their instructors for this tribute.
EAGLE is a statewide program that recognizes and rewards excellence among students enrolled in adult education programs and is sponsored by the Technical College System of Georgia through the Office of Adult Education. The program is designed to create greater awareness of educational opportunities that are available in local communities and to foster greater involvement in lifelong learning.
Todd will represent NGTC and compete in the regional competition in February and will attend the EAGLE Conference in Atlanta on March 14-16. She is a student at the Stephens County Adult Education Center.
“We are so proud of all of our students,” said NGTC Dean for Adult Education Shelby Ward. “We know that Grace will represent the college well during the next rounds of competition at the region and state levels.”
