East Hall dropped a tough five-set match to Tallulah Falls Thursday night in girls volleyball action.
The Lady Viking took the lead, fell behind, and then rallied to send it to a fifth-set before falling 22-25, 25-19, 25-18, 10-25, 15-10.
Minette Maldonado had 10 points on serve with three aces, 13 kills and 16 digs and Savannah Thellman had 11 points scored on serve with two aces, 29 assists and eight digs to lead East Hall. Jessica Chmiel had six points scored on serve with one ace, four kills and one dig, Lorna Ayon had 16 digs, Summer Lindsey had three points scored on serve with one kill and 34 digs, and Niyah Rucker had 11 kills and six blocks for the Lady Vikings.
Cassida Shockley had eight points on serve, 10 kills, one assist and eight digs and Holly Poole had six points scored on serve, two kills, three assists and six digs for East Hall.
The Lady Vikings next will travel to West Hall next Tuesday in Region 7-AAA play against the Lady Spartans and Fannin County.
