GAINESVILLE — North Hall remained among the leaders in Region 8-AAAA after taking a 4-0 win over Chestatee Thursday.
The Lady Trojans (15-6, 5-1 Region 8-AAAA) got a complete-game, one-hitter from Kendyl Chase in circle. Chase fanned 11 and walked just one.
The only hit for Chestatee came from Kayla Watson with a lead-off double in the first inning.
For North Hall, Niki Carver was hit by a pitch in the first inning and later scored on a single by Ashlyn Brewster. In the fifth inning, Kailee Dyer and Macy Clark scored on a double by Carson McCormack, who later scored on a wild pitch.
Kadie Sullens, Ashley Goines, and Carson Negley each had one hit for North Hall.
The Lady Trojans next will travel to Danielsville to play Madison County in a Region 8-AAAA battle on Tuesday.
