DUBLIN, N.C. - Chris Ferguson struck early in Saturday night’s “Rattlesnake Rumble” at Dublin Motor Speedway in Dublin, N.C. and powered away to the Ultimate Super Late Model Series victory.
The Mount Holley, N.C. native captured the pole in qualifying, turning a lap around the 4/10 mile dirt speedway in 15.327 seconds.
On the drop of the green, Ferguson surged to the lead, and held the top spot for the entire 50 lap distance to score the victory. He pocketed a cool $5,000 payday with the win.
Dennis Franklin finished in second, with Dustin Mitchell in third, Toccoa, Ga.’s Casey Roberts in fourth and Ivedent Lloyd, Jr. in fifth.
Kenny Collins, Lance Brasington, Johnny Pursley, Jeff Smith and Brian Ledbetter rounded out the top ten.
