Steffanie Redmon pitched seven strong innings to carry the East Hall girls softball team to a 2-1 win over Pickens County on Saturday.
Pickens County's Makayla Smith took the tough loss going the distance walking five and allowing two runs.
Pickens County's lone run came in the first inning on a steal of home. The Lady Vikings scored twice in the fourth and Redmon made it stand up.
