Oct. 1 fundraiser to benefit Cancer Foundation of NE Ga.

COMMERCE -  Tanger Outlets and Northridge Medical Center have announced that they are partnering to organize a fundraising event on October 1st to benefit the Cancer Foundation of Northeast Georgia.  The event will be called the “PINK PARTINI FASHION GALA!”  It will take place on October 1st from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Jefferson Civic Center.  The fun evening out will consist of a cocktail hour featuring delicious appetizers and tasty treats, a silent auction, all followed by a first class fashion show.  Tickets to the PINK PARTINI will cost $20 and are available at both Tanger Outlets and the Northridge Medical Center.  Additional ticket outlets include the Jackson Medicine Center and Sassafrass Salon.
 
One-hundred percent of the event proceeds will go directly to cancer patients and their families through the Cancer Foundation of Northeast Georgia.  The mission of the foundation is to alleviate the financial burden of cancer for eligible patients.
 
“This event has been in the planning stages for almost a year now and we are very excited about putting on an extraordinary event where the community can come together, have a wonderful evening out, and help raise money for a very worthy cause,” said Tricia Massey, Director of Outreach for the Northridge Medical Center.  “Our goal is to sell at least 200 tickets and to raise $2,000!”
 
The fashion show will include a combination of top professional models from Atlanta, models from the Tanger Teen Fashion Panel, and will also feature local cancer survivors that have graciously agreed to join in on all the fun!  The show will be produced by Poshe Productions, a top fashion and entertainment company based out of Atlanta. 
 
Tanger Outlets has partnered with the Northridge Medical Center to help organize this fundraising event and several local businesses have already signed on to co-sponsor the event.  Additional sponsorship information can be obtained by contacting either Tricia Massey at Northridge Medical Center or Mark Valentine at Tanger Outlets.  Sponsors include:  DFP Construction, Carson Plumbing, Contour Environmental, Jon Massey State Farm, Legacy Landscape Management, Legacy Construction, Myers Electric, North Georgia Cleaning Systems, Tip Top Roofers, Athens Diagnostic, CertaPro Painters, EMC Security, Hampton Inn of Commerce, Jackson EMC, St. Mortiz Building Services, TruGreen, and VendEdge.
