RABBITTOWN — East Hall took the final of seven lead changes to beat Chestatee 7-6 Friday Vikings Varsity outlasted Chestatee on Friday after seven lead changes, squeaking out a 7-6 win at East Hall Park.
The Lady Vikings got the game winner in the seventh inning on an RBI single by Jenifer Lopez bringing home Makayla Wilson. Lopez racked up three RBI on three hits in the win.
Steffanie Redmon worked out of three tough spots for East Hall to get the win. She pitched seven innings and allowed just two earned runs on three hits.
Becca Eddins took the loss for Chestatee allowing seven runs in 6 1/3 innings. She walked one and struck out six.
Chestatee took a 1-0 lead in the first on a single by Beth Eddins, scoring Cheyanne Raper.
East Hall answered with a three-run third, highlighted by a two-run single by Lopez and an RBI double by Redmon.
