Motorcyclist suffers critical injuries in south Forsyth crash

CUMMING — Forsyth County emergency responders said a motorcyclist has suffered critical injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Ronald Reagan Parkway near the back entrance to South Forsyth High School. 

Forsyth Couty Fire Division Chief Jason Shivers said the call came in around 12:30 p.m. after a motorcycle and pickup truck collided just north of Peachtree Parkway.
 
He said there was one occupant in each vehicle.
 
"The injury is to the driver of the motorcycle - and adult male," said Shivers. "He does have critical injuries andwas transported by ground to North Fulton Hospital. 

Shiver said the road will remain closed until an investigation can be completed. He said vehicles will be able to enter and exit from the front entry to South Forsyth High School when school is dismissed, but the back entrance to the school will remain closed into the afternoon rush hour.

Names of those involved in the crash have not been released.
