EATONTON. —  The facilities manager of the Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Middle Georgia estimates that damage from a recent storm will result in up to $300,000 in repairs.

WMAZ-TV reports (http://on.wmaz.com/1Tcyg3R ) that the Thursday storm toppled about 100 trees and damaged about seven cabins on the grounds of the Rock Eagle 4-H Center north of Eatonton.

Facilities Manager Johnny Parker said there were around 300 people at the center when the storm hit, but says no one was injured.

Parker said Rock Eagle is expecting around 600 people during the upcoming week, and that workers will have the facilities ready for them.
