GAINESVILLE — The North Hall girls softball team opened its 2015 season with a 4-2 win over Dawson County Friday in the Lanier Pointe Tournament at the Lanier Pointe Softball Complex.
Charli Shepheard and Kendyl Chase both pitched for North Hall with allowing just one hits apiece.Chase picked up the win after the Lady Trojans scored two runs in the top of the fifth inning to take the lead for good.
Kadie Sullens was 3-for-3 with a double, an RBI, and a run scored to pace North Hall (1-0). Ashley Goins, Logan Savage, and Ashlyn Brewster each had a hit and an RBI for the Lady Trojans. Abigail Gilleland, Macy Clark, and Brewster each scored a run.
