GAINESVILLE - A manhunt in the Candler Road area turned up no sign of a would-be burglary Wednesday afternoon.
Hall County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Nicole Bailes said the search was prompted by an attempted burglary at a house on Briarcliff Court about 2:00.
"K-9 officers requested a perimeter in an effort to catch a subject that entered a garage while the homeowner was home," Bailes said. "We were not able to locate the subject and no one was injured. No items were missing,"
