DEMOREST - Summer is not over yet - and Piedmont College is hosting a “Fun & Fit” camp for boys and girls ages 5-15 at the Johnny Mize Athletic Center in Demorest Aug. 3-6.
The camp is directed by Piedmont basketball coaches Jamie Purdy and Greg Neeley, with an emphasis on motor skill development and sportsmanship. Activities will include basketball, cooperative games, exercises, kickball, soccer, strength training, tennis and ultimate Frisbee. Participants who register before July 27 will receive a camp T-shirt.
The camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, with supervised drop-offs starting at 7:30 a.m. The cost is $125 per camper with a $15 discount for siblings.
